French officer navel cdets get a good veiw of England as their ship is about to enter Poole Harbour on a vist in the last few days of July, 1956. They were met and welcomed by the Mayor and Admiral of Poole, Councillor C.W. Wells, in company with the Sheriff, Councillor A.J. Stokes. "l'Etoil" displaces 227 tons and is 128ft. long.
