White-haired man at RH of front row kept cycle shop in Parkstone. The original members of Branksome ARP post, taken 1938-39 by the Fine Art Studios, The Broadway, Parkstone. Note silver civil defence badges in left hand lapels, straps to gas mask cases, civil defence arm band and tin hats. S.J. Cake on left, front row.
