Museum Ref No: H3e_0001School group; Poole Grammar School; from 3C; 5/1937. Unidentified
Description sent into the website: "The member of staff in the middle with the mortar board is the Headmaster, Mr Greenfield. The teacher to the left of him is W H Froud (Bill Froud was known to generations of Poole Grammar School pupils by his nickname 'Frapper' Froud - or often 'Frap'). He had been a Poole Grammar School pupil himself, and returned to teach geography, and was a railway enthusiast who could time his lessons by the trains passing on the line beyond the school playing field. After retiring from teaching at Poole Grammar School in 1961 he went to teach at an independent school in Parkstone - Sandecotes Road, from memory."
